About
We are a community of artisans and crafters who feel that shopping can be guilt free, affordable and socially conscious. A majority of our products are sold on consignment so that you are directly supporting crafters and allowing them to do what they love! We also believe that business can be built on a community rather than a marketing scheme.

Hi Alex! I found you via a thread on Crafting an MBA (topic was on consignment vs. wholesale) and your words really resonated with me – I’m just starting to think about consigning locally and have a lot of questions, you offered a lot to think about….great website by the way, and I hope to be able to make a trip to PA to visit your boutique, and in the meantime I’ll look forward to seeing the online shop when it launches! All the best – Joanna from Joy in my studio
Joanna–thanks so much for your kind words and for taking the time to read and think about my comment. I’d be happy to answer any questions you may have about consignment vs wholesale. It’s a touchy subject for many–we have all had a range of experiences that are generally far from black and white. There is no such thing as a perfect relationship of any kind. They all take work and communication and flexibility. I love consignment for so many reasons, and, although I am admittedly imperfect as a gallery owner, I do my very best to do right by the artists who have put their trust in me. Good luck with you future endeavors, and please do keep us in mind for the future!
