Our Grand Opening!
Please join us for the Grand Opening of our long-awaited brick-and-mortar shop! We will be hosting an opening reception for Show and Tell, our first gallery exhibition, featuring works combining illustration and the written word. We will also be celebrating our shop’s big day with some handmade giveaways, refreshments, and general merriment. Many of our artists will also be present to chat about their work and get to know their new best customers *wink*!
We have combined our Grand Opening with West Reading’s fabulous First Thursday event–the Avenue will have live music, gallery openings, in-store events, and later hours in all of the shops. Kick off your holiday weekend with a night out on the town: eat local, shop local, and support the great things your own backyard has to offer!

I was there for the grand opening and it was FAB!
The store is a breath of fresh air with so much to look at, and such bright colors and great artsy displays everywhere. I purchased earrings, and some gorgeously soulful cards to send to my niece at Penn State…. Plus I found cup cake SOAP for my best friends daughters to use in the tub! The prices are right and the vibe of the store is sweet and welcoming.
If you have not dropped by “hello blue bird” since the opening I really hope you’ll do so soon. You won’t be sorry.
